What it is

Every Scottish university publishes its entry requirements, and every one of them publishes them differently — buried on a course page, split between a standard offer and a lower widening access offer, with the essential subjects written out in a paragraph. Finding out what your grades actually get you means opening a few hundred tabs.

This does it in one go. Add your subjects and grades, tick widening access if it applies to you, and it checks your grades against all 1,551 courses at once.

What you get back

Three groups:

• You qualify — you meet or beat the offer.
• Widening access — you miss the standard offer but meet the lower one Scottish unis give applicants from a state school in a deprived postcode, first in the family to go, or care experienced.
• Just short — the ones you miss by a grade, so you know which resit is worth the most.

Where the numbers come from

Scraped from the undergraduate sites of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, QMU, Robert Gordon, St Andrews, Stirling and Strathclyde, for 2026 entry. Subject prerequisites are matched against the course’s essential subject text — where that is ambiguous the course is flagged “check prereqs” rather than guessed at.

Confirm anything you are actually going to apply for against the university’s own page. Requirements change mid-cycle and nothing here is an offer.
